Q:  Why is a contract of commitment required to be signed?

A:  We are not a recreational/recital-based organization. We purpose to be used as instruments of ministry under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. That being the case, a higher level of commitment is required. Ministering with this Company requires the same commitment from everyone. Just as with any sports team, each member of our dance team is critical to the completion of our goal – creating and performing dances that show forth God’s glory and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every member depends on every other member to be present at rehearsals and performances so we don’t waste time or impair the dance.

Q:  What are the costs involved in being a team member?

A:  Aside from your monthly tuition, students are responsible to provide their own rehearsal uniform, tights/socks and shoes.  Performance garments are provided by the Company.

Q:  When do I pay?

A:  Your registration fee is due upon registration and is not refundable.  Monthly tuition is due by the first of the month. You may pay your entire balance at any time; however, doing so does not discount your program.

Q:  What about missed classes?

A:  No credit is extended for missed classes. You will be required to pay each month in-full regardless of vacation time or other reasons for missing class time. This is part of your commitment to the ministry.

Q:  Where and When will rehearsals be held?

A:  You will receive your class schedule upon final enrollment.  Classes are held on Tuesdays (subject to change) currently in the Central Church facility.  Check our Studio page or request a copy of the current schedule for more information prior to enrollment.

Q:  What should I wear to class?

A:  Visit our Dress Code page to see our requirements.

Q:  Will I be able to bring my children to rehearsals?

A:  Because there is limited time to accomplish a lot of study and rehearsing, children will not be permitted to join our rehearsals unless they are attending their own class.  If you are an adult student with children, please make arrangements for a sitter for this one night each week during class time.

Q:  I’m a parent with more than one child and need to have them with me when I drop off my dance student.  What should I expect to do with my other children?

A:  You are responsible to supervise your own children.  Under no circumstances are children to be roaming the building unattended.  You may sit quietly in our waiting area or may elect to wait in your car or utilize the church playground if weather permits.  Our staff and volunteers are not here to provide childcare. You may not drop off any other children who do not have class and leave the church grounds.

Q:  What can I expect to receive in way of “instruction” for my monthly tuition?

A:  Much preparation goes into each rehearsal for our Bible studies and dance curriculum. Many hours are spent by the instructors to provide you with the best foundation for your personal ministry in the dance.  The rehearsal format will include Bible devotional/study, prayer, and scripture memorization, warm-up, ballet barre work, center floor work, and choreography.  Additional elements may include gaining experience in “flocking” and using various worship tools.

Q:  How will the ministry be funded?

A:  Tuition provides about 50% of our operating income.  We also depend on event offerings and regular donor contributions to cover the cost of operating the ministry.   Fund raisers are also considered if necessary, depending on the ministry’s financial needs.

Q:  What’s your annual budget?

A:  As a non-profit, our budget is open to public inspection upon request.  Please contact us.
