Class information: Students will be instructed in classical ballet, interpretive movement, and sign language. Class size will be limited to 8 students with various developmental challenges.

Fall/Winter semester will run September 15th through December 17th. Students in this semester will learn basic dance terms and beginning skills.

Winter/Spring semester will run from January 5 – May 2nd. Students in this semester will continue in technical dance training as well as learn a dance piece to share during our Spring ministry event scheduled for May 2nd. Winter/Spring semester students must participate in the Fall/Winter semester previously.

In addition to the May 2 & 3 production, Winter/Spring students will participate in a ministry event at Glenbrook Mall in March. They will share the dance they are learning.  A tee shirt provided by RDC will need to be purchased for this event.

Fees: Cost of the either semester is $48 per month plus one-time registration fee of $35. Tuition is due on the first day of the month. Payments received after the 10th of the month are deemed late and will incur a $10 late fee. Paying for the entire semester is strongly encouraged, but monthly installments are acceptable.

Day & Time: A weekly Monday class will be held at 4:00 for ages 4-7, 4:45 for ages 8-11, and 5:30 for ages 12-16. Each class will be 45 minutes in length. 

Eligibility: Parents who have interest are invited to call the Ministry Coach or Assistant Director to talk more specifically about their child’s needs. 

Other Information:
Students will be responsible to provide rehearsal garments that fall within our dress code (please inquire). Shoes may be purchased at Standing Ovation Performance Apparel on Clinton Street (just south of Glenbrook Mall). RDC has tights on-site for purchase.

RDC will expect parental involvement by volunteering to help the ministry in some capacity. Please understand that this is a Christ-centered environment and the RDC Staff will discuss spiritual issues with students as aligns with the Christian faith.
