Financial Policies -
- Tuition is due the first of the month and will be considered late if not received by the 10th. You may still wish to send payment into class the last week of the previous month; however, you have until the 10th of the month to pay. LATE FEE FOR TARDY TUITION PAYMENTS IS NOW $10. We encourage you to pay in a timely manner.
- Returned checks will result in a $30 NSF fee.
- The season is a total of 30 weeks of classes. Payments are divided into eight equal monthly payments, from September through April. Your monthly payment will be calculated individually. There is no pro-rating for months with less than 4 weeks as there are also months with 5 weeks of class and additional rehearsal times scheduled during production week. Accounts must be paid in full by April 1st. You may pay your entire account at any time, though doing so does not provide for a discount. Your monthly tuition includes class lessons, performance garments and use of RDC property.
- Discounts for multiple-student families are as follows: 10% 2nd student, 15% 3rd student, 25% 4th student, 50% 5th student, 6th and subsequent siblings FREE!
- Any withdrawals from classes after September 30th must be communicated in writing to the RDC business office. As per financial covenant, withdrawing after this date does not release you from financial responsibility. As we require a season-long commitment, we ask that you carefully consider your commitment level. Withdrawing before the September 30th date releases you from further financial responsibility.
- Annual Registration Fee - All students pay (once each year) a registration fee to accompany their registration form. Fees are as follows: $35 registration fee for a new student; $25 for returning students. Registration fees are non-refundable.
- Missed lessons - We do not reduce tuition for missed lessons due to absence. In the event of inclement weather, make-up classes will be scheduled if more than one class has been cancelled.
