Karin Doell
 New as a teacher’s assistant, Karin Doell joins us with 5 years of dance experience. She has training in a variety of styles of dance including, jazz, lyrical and tap. This is her third year with The River Dance Company. She is currently in the 7th grade and her interests include dancing, playing piano, singing, and doing artwork. She loves the Christian atmosphere of RDC and being able to dance with her Christian friends. Karin says, “My favorite part about assisting is that I get to be with and instruct young kids. The biggest thing it is teaching me is to have patience.”

Another of our teacher’s assistant is Shannon Vance. She has been with RDC since its beginnings in 2002. She has training in a variety of styles of dance including ballet, hip-hop and sign language. She is in the 6th grade and her interests include dancing, singing and playing the flute. She loves the intimate atmosphere of RDC because of its small size. She also loves to dance outside of RDC in various talent shows in order to share God’s love with those who may not know Him. Shannon says, “I have always wanted to be a teacher’s assistant since I started with the company. When Miss Monica asked me to be a teacher’s assistant, I cried for joy!”
